Become a Marriage Celebrant
Marriage Celebrants in Australia are authorized and registered by the Commonwealth Attorney General’s Department in Canberra. It is a requirement that anyone wishing to be registered must first complete an approved, competency-based training course titled ‘Plan, Conduct and Review a Marriage Ceremony’. On successful completion of the training application can be made by seeking an application package; this package contains explanatory material to assist in completion of the application form and describes other criteria including fit and proper persons requirement, and conflict of interest issues.
The training must be undertaken through a registered training organization. I work in association with Adcom Training Solutions (www.adcomtrainingsolutions.com) and offer marriage celebrant training in a style that allows you to work at your own pace.
To find out more, please contact me on info@mariesteele.com.au or phone 0418 577 527. I would be happy to discuss the requirements for you to become registered to have an opportunity to share the most important day of many peoples " lives.” ![]()
